Who this page is for
This page is for anyone whose data may be held by BookMo, including:
- Patients who have messaged a Facebook Page powered by BookMo (aesthetic clinics, dermatology, dental, etc.)
- Clinic owners and staff whose businesses have used BookMo
- Anyone who has contacted us at getbookmo@gmail.com with an inquiry

Two ways to request deletion
Email us a deletion request
Send an email to getbookmo@gmail.com using the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:
- Your full name (as it appears in Facebook, if messaging from Messenger)
- The name of the clinic Facebook Page you messaged
- Optional: any other identifying details that would help us locate your conversation (e.g., approximate date of first message, the phone number you provided if any)
Remove the clinic Page from Messenger
You may also request deletion through Facebook directly:
- Open Messenger and find the conversation with the clinic Page
- Tap the Page name at the top of the conversation to open Page details
- Scroll down and tap Block or Delete Conversation
- Facebook will notify us of the block, and BookMo will honor the removal on our systems
Note: this method removes the conversation from Facebook's Messenger interface. To also delete the conversation record from BookMo's own storage (Google Sheets), please additionally use Method 1.
What gets deleted
When we process a deletion request, we remove:
- Your conversation history from the clinic's Google Sheet
- Any name, phone number, service interest, and notes tied to your Facebook User ID
- Your entry from the clinic's Patients tab
What may be retained (and why)
We retain a minimal record of your deletion request for our own audit trail. This includes:
- The date the request was received and completed
- A hashed or pseudonymized reference to your Facebook User ID (to prevent re-processing your data if we receive it again)
We may also retain data if required by:
- A valid legal process (court order, subpoena from Philippine courts)
- An active investigation by the Philippine National Privacy Commission
- Financial records law (e.g., billing records for clinic subscribers must be retained per BIR requirements)
Timeline
We aim to complete deletion requests within 15 business days of receipt. You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
Data held by third parties
BookMo relies on third-party platforms that also hold data related to your interactions. Deleting your data from BookMo does not automatically delete it from these platforms. You may need to contact them directly:
- Meta (Facebook / Messenger) — Visit facebook.com/help or your Facebook Account Settings to request deletion of your Facebook data.
- OpenAI — Message content sent to OpenAI's API for processing is not retained for training when accessed via API. See openai.com/policies/privacy-policy.
- Google (Sheets, Gmail) — Your Google account settings control any data Google holds. See myaccount.google.com.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how we handled your deletion request, you may file a complaint with the Philippine National Privacy Commission:
